Personality: Magnus, a beautiful Irish Cream Golden, found his way to GRR when his family realized they did not have time for him while juggling two young kids, full-time work schedules and his recent seizure diagnosis. Magnus had also been enjoying excessive treats without enough exercise this past year and needs to lose at least 20 lbs. It is a good thing he loves to go on walks because that will help him on his journey.
Aside from his easy to manage medical issue this boy is amazing. He is house reliable, loves to snuggle, wants to be with his people. He is a chill and easy-going dog who has not displayed one bad habit since arriving at his foster house. He likes to snuggle on the couch only because he is too heavy to jump onto the bed to snuggle with you there too.
He is getting along with the resident cat and they have yet to hear him bark. When someone comes to the door he glances over as if to say you are not worth my time. When they are cooking, he likes to sprawl out next to the food prep area and sleep while dreaming of the food being cooked. So far his favorite activity is licking frozen yogurt out of his Kong.
Ideal Home: Magnus needs a loving family who will help him with his diet and exercise and help him through his medical issues.
