Personality: Goldie is a very loving and lovable golden girl.   She is 9 yrs. old, but acts like a much younger dog.  She loves a good belly rub by children and adults alike.  Our girl gets along with most dogs and cats.  She is definitely a lover by nature and will love you every moment of every day.  Don’t be surprised when she jumps up on the couch to cuddle up with you.

Our girl has a few first loves.  Goldie loves grooming.  She will do anything to be the first one to be groomed so brush away!   The only other thing she loves as much as a good belly rub and grooming is hopping up on the couch and relaxing.

Ideal home:  Goldie would do best probably with a single level home since it has been noted that she appears to have some trouble coming down stairs. This could be a depth perception issue.  A family with a multi-level home should probably not encourage her to go upstairs

Goldie is a bit of a puller so her owner will probably have to do some training with her when it comes to walking.  A head halter or gentle leader that goes around the nose would probably be a good idea to train her to walk with her owner.

Goldie is a bit on the chunky side so a controlled diet and activity will definitely help this golden girl.
