Brooklyn (aka Brookie) came to us in January 2009. He was a very affectionate, sweet and loving dog of 35 lbs who touched our hearts the day he was brought to us.
Brooklyn’s great joy was retrieving balls and other dog toys along with chasing the squirrels in the backyard. He always had his favorite spot on the living room couch, for that matter, any place in the house he wanted to lay his head. One of our greatest joys was returning from an outing and upon entering the front door, Brooklyn would be there to enthusiastically greet us.
It’s always hard to say goodbye to your Golden. We were blissed to have him in our home and are a better family for having given him a loving home.
