Melody is an Extraordinary Golden because she needed 24/7 care at the emergency vet for over a week. This is Melody’s story: Melody was a 4-month puppy who arrived in GRR care very sick, quite small, lethargic and dehydrated. We immediately rushed her to an emergency hospital where they determined Melody had coccidia and an extremely low glucose level.
Melody's Story: Melody spent 5 days getting 24/7 care at the emergency hospital where she received a dextrose drip, subcutaneous fluids, blood transfusions and antibiotics. Good news: Melody was a tough puppy who fought hard and slowly made progress. Today, Melody is happy, healthy and thriving with her adoptive family.
