Personality: Molly was originally adopted through GRR in 2016.  Unfortunately, her family has experienced some major life changes recently and has decided that she deserves more love and attention than they are able to provide.  Wisely, they turned to GRR to help them find a home better suited to Molly’s needs.

Molly is a beautiful girl who is house-trained, well-mannered, healthy, sweet and playful.  She enjoys being around other dogs, doesn’t seem to mind cats, and is kid-friendly.  She is often found with a ball nearby (even when sleeping) and fetches like a pro!  She rides great in the car and walks well on a leash.  She is a happy, go-lucky pup who is eager to find her forever home.

Molly may or not have been accused of helping herself to goodies left out on the counter, as she is a true believer in finders keepers!!  She is also open to accepting treats gently and doesn’t mind if others of the two- or four-legged variety are nearby when she’s dining.  Although she has exhibited some signs of anxiety recently, it is likely related to the changes going on in her previous home.  This precious girl has all of the cherished qualities of a golden retriever, including swimming and fetching, and is ready for an adoption do-over!

Ideal Home: Molly would be a wonderful addition to any family with or without kids, but she really needs a home with another large or medium-sized dog to keep her company.  Her dream home would have a nice yard for playing fetch or might have a pool, but Molly has realistic expectations.  She’d be happy to have a home where her people provide lots of love, opportunities to play fetch, take her on walks or for the occasional swim, and show her how good life can be.
