Meet GRR’s June, a beautiful girl whose number one priority is her human companion(s). She is happiest indoors being right beside you - she will join you on the couch, snooze by your feet, or paw you for attention. June loves to play fetch outside and will bring the ball back over and over again. She has adaptable energy levels - she loves being outdoors playing fetch or going for a walk, but she’s also content being inside by your side. She has good manners (sits politely for her harness to go on a walk), listens to verbal redirections, is learning daily routines in her foster home, and is quite curious. On walks, June seems interested when she sees other dogs or people, but currently just stops to take things in, then proceeds on her way. June gets along with the resident dog in her foster home; however, she doesn’t play with the other dog (yet)...although she is a bit jealous when the other dog is receiving pets! Overall, June is sweet, trusting, mellow and she aims to please.
Ideal Home: As June has a great temperament, she will likely do well in any home where she is showered with attention and love daily. She is extremely human-focused, so a home where someone is home often would be ideal for her; she is also very attuned to the tone and body language of her human(s). Since playing fetch is a top priority for June, a home where she has a yard to enjoy would be wonderful. A family who would love June and include her in their daily life and routines would be her dream come true. Could June be the perfect pup for your family?
