Say a big GRR Hello to Brooklyn!  Brooklyn is a rescue who is learning to crave the love and affection he deserves.  As a rescue, Brooklyn is still getting used to his new surroundings, but seems very calm and happy.

Brooklyn is reliably housebroken and since he has proven himself so far, he is free to roam throughout the downstairs portion of his foster home.  As a result, his foster family has not used a crate for him at this time. Brooklyn has a newfound love of large stuffed animals in his foster home, and he will carry them around the house chewing on them gently. To melt your heart even more, Brooklyn likes to use his beloved stuffed animals as pillows or to rest his paws on while sleeping. At this time, he is not really interactive with the other two Goldens in the home, but hopefully, with time, Brooklyn will start to enjoy the company of his buddies.  Brooklyn has not been observed interacting with cats at this time.

Brooklyn is a healthy, gentle, and beautiful boy who loves to eat and will lick the bowls of the other Goldens in the house after meals to ensure nothing was left behind!  He is very sweet and gentle when taking treats too.  Brooklyn will greet you at the door when you arrive and will see you off when you leave and he enjoys naps.  He has a favorite napping spot at his foster home, and he sleeps well through the night. At this time, he has not been observed during stormy weather, nor has he had the chance to take a swim (or see if he would like to)!

This sweet boy does not jump up on people. He will retrieve a toy or ball, but then prefers to keep it rather than bring it back! It is reported that he pulls on the leash, so he will need some patience in this area, as well as consistent practice.

Brooklyn is a happy boy who is full of love and silly antics to make you smile.  With time, his somewhat shy, independent personality will likely blossom more and more.

Ideal Home: Brooklyn would do well in a home where his family would be willing to let him have some time to learn the ropes.  He enjoys being petted and loved on and he has a fondness for his stuffed animal toys.  This beautiful boy is ready for his forever family, could that family be yours?
