Behavior Change That Sticks — How Dogs Learn, Feel, and Choose Behavior

When learning and emotion align, progress accelerates.

Understanding how dogs process the world is the key to creating lasting behavior change. In this month’s webinar, we’ll explore the connection between learning and emotion, why working under threshold matters, and how to set dogs up for repeatable successes rather than setbacks. Whether you’re supporting a newly adopted Golden or brushing up on positive‑training skills, this session will give you practical tools you can use right away.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Distinguish emotional learning from cue‑based training
  • Keep dogs under threshold to prevent overwhelm
  • Build small, consistent wins that lead to long‑term progress

If you would like to be better prepared for this event so please email questions to michelle@grr-tx.com prior to the webinar. We will still have some Q&A time at the end, and this will help us ensure the content stays relevant.

Note: The series is free to the GRR community.
