Unfinished, Not Broken: Critical Periods and the Rescue Dog is a a compassionate, science‑informed look at how early developmental stages shape a dog’s behavior—and why many rescue dogs simply missed experiences rather than being “damaged. This webinar will help adopters and volunteers understand what critical periods are, how gaps in early socialization can show up later, and most importantly, how patience, structure, and supportive environments can help dogs thrive.
Attendees will leave with practical tools, renewed empathy, and a deeper appreciation for the resilience of every Golden who comes through rescue.
We would like to be better prepared for this event so please email questions to michelle@grr-tx.com prior to the webinar. We will still have some Q&A time at the end, and this will help us ensure the content stays relevant.
