Personality: Blonde boy Trackr came from a shelter in the Texas Panhandle along with 3 brothers known as the 9/11 Hero Dogs. Trackr is now happily ensconced in a foster home waiting for his forever family to find him!

Trackr has picked up on the doggy door and is doing well with his house training. He for sure doesn’t like the crate and will bark and cry unless bribed with treats. If he is left alone, he is baby gated in the kitchen area and likes to have the radio on.

He hasn’t had the pleasure of meeting children, other dogs, or cats yet. He hasn’t had any human visitors besides his foster family. When given a treat, he takes it very gently. He really loves those treats. Trackr is walking very well on the leash with no pulling. He is totally interested in his surroundings while on his walks. This young boy hasn’t gotten the knack of retrieving yet. He’ll go get a tennis ball in the backyard but will usually drop it right away.

Inside the house, Trackr is mild mannered and calm. His favorite prank is to snatch the potholders and towels off the kitchen counter. He doesn’t beg and has only had a couple of chewing incidents. He was redirected quickly and easily. At night he tries to crawl in bed with his foster folks, just as any dog likes to do. But he will settle down and sleep on floor.

Trackr’s energy level is pretty average, and he is a nice, laid back puppy. He follows his foster folks around the house, not wanting anyone out of his sight.

Ideal Home: This little 4-month-old darling is so well-behaved for such a young boy. Trackr very much needs a family who will continue his training and taking from a puppy to polite young gentleman. His family should be calm but willing to interact with and play with him as often as possible.
