Exuberant, joie de vivie, smart and sweet is how Ginger’s foster mom describes her.  Ginger is beautiful, athletic, and a little bit spicy!

Meet sweet Ginger who is 100% house-trained and does well baby-gated in a small area when left and will greet you with a happy sprawl and tail wags upon your return!  Ginger will occasionally jump up on people out of sheer delight in seeing a human, but with practice, she is quickly learning to sit politely instead.

Ginger LOVES all people and will likely do well with older children.  She is very gentle taking treats and is calm and patient in the car.  Ginger needs someone who will continue practicing appropriate leash walking.  This smart girl learns quickly and is on alert for all critters when on walks or watching animals through the window.  Ginger LOVES other dogs and is quite fond of her foster sibling.

She is very teachable, smart, and willing to learn.  When it’s time to play and retrieve, Ginger loves to chase tennis balls and will run like the wind or engage in a tug-of-war challenge!  In the house, Ginger is a full-on Golden Retriever as she loves to be petted, cuddled and adored.

Ideal Home:  Ginger is an outgoing, exuberant, medium/high energy young girl who needs a home with ample opportunities for exercise along with routine and structure.  She is the perfect house dog:  loving, responsive, and aiming to please.  Outdoors she shows her athletic side.

This girl will thrive at dock-diving, agility, hiking and more.  A home with space to run and enjoy the outdoors would be great.  Overall, this sweet and loving companion needs a family who will include her in their day to day activities, while also working with her to learn and grow. Ginger needs a no cat home or home without rabbits, birds and other small housepets.  Could your family be the right match for this Golden beauty?
