Christi is a petite little blonde girl with pretty gold ears. Even at her young age she has already had a couple of litters. She came to GRR heartworm positive and with a tick-borne disease.

Personality: Christi’s foster family is delighted to report that she seems to be housebroken either from her past life of from learning “proper poop protocol” from her foster siblings. She is currently not being crated and is free to roam the house with her foster siblings.

She is very sweet and friendly to any and all she meets and is working up to playing with the other dog in the house. Christi looks at but has shown no interest in the cat of the house.

When it is time for a walk, she loves to go, but for some reason it’s a bit of struggle and mind game to get her leashed up and out the door. Christi tugs a bit, but eventually walks happily alongside to enjoy the sites.

Christi is still a little timid when it comes to eating, but she’s not protective. An occasional shoe or flip-flop may turn up it an odd place, but they never have any chew marks. She’s just now starting to discover toys, so we still don’t know if she enjoys to squeaky-squeak or retrieve a ball.

Overall, Christi is very sweet and loving and starting to get over her timidness. She is very happy that her foster family’s female dog has deemed her worthy to play with.

Ideal Family; Christi will need lots of activity. She loves to run in the yard and is crazy about any kind of attention. Another dog in the family as a companion would be a plus.
