June 16 Update: Shiloh is a sweet, happy, confident girl that loves attention but isn’t pushy as she knows how to patiently wait her turn. When excited, Shiloh hops about as she wants to share her enthusiasm with you. Shiloh enjoys two, short, daily walks and just “goes with the flow” --- whatever you’re doing works for Shiloh. She loves balls and is much better at catching it. Shiloh is great with other dogs and does well on-leash when meeting new people and dogs. Best of all, Shiloh loves hugs and attention from her family. Could you be this sweet girl’s forever family?
Meet GRR’s Shiloh, a beautiful red Golden who is as sweet as can be! Shiloh is a pretty mellow dog, she can be playful at times, although she does have some arthritis from a puppyhood injury. She loves to cuddle on the couch with her people and is a sweet, smiley dog! Shiloh is rather vocal; however, as she acclimates more and more to her foster home, she is barking far less. She lives to play with her toys and she LOVES to wander around in the backyard taking it all in. She will also “nest” by digging around on the rug before she settles in for a nap. Even though she is an older Golden, she does sometimes have moments where she likes to chew on things, but can be redirected. Shiloh is described as friendly and a little shy, but she loves to give kisses! When she gets excited she will run and jump around.
Ideal Home: For Shiloh, a home where she can have a calm day to day life would be good since she is rather “chill”. She does enjoy the company of another dog, so having a home with another canine companion is essential for her. She needs a home where she has a yard to explore since she enjoys sniffing and wandering, but isn’t as keen on going for daily walks (however that may change as she settles in)”. While Shiloh adores other dogs, she shouldn't be with bunnies or other small animals as she will chase them. Could your family be the perfect match for Shiloh?
