Meet GRR’s Shadow, who is a lover of food, cuddles and lounging on the couch! He enjoys being close to his people to relax and chew on his bone. He loves to be pet and is both curious and playful. Shadow has fun playing with the resident dog in his foster home with a game of tug-of-war or wrestling. He likes to go on walks and has been working to polish his manners on a leash - although, when he is ready for a walk he will hold the leash in his mouth and carry it to the door for you! Shadow likes stuffed toys, loves to squeak them, and will toss them into the air! Sleeping in and lounging around are two of his strong suites; he has a sweet and calm personality. Living up to his name, Shadow likes to follow his human(s) around the house. He likes time outside, learning new tricks, is outgoing, and quiet.
Ideal Home: For Shadow, a home where he receives TONS of love is a must! He is fairly low energy, so he would enjoy a home where he can be close to his people lounging or cuddling with some walks thrown in too. He likes other dogs and interacts well with them overall, but does resource guard his dog bones on occasion (but he is working on this and has shown growth). Having a canine sibling would be fine for Shadow, but not a requirement. A family who has time to work with him on some basic manners (he has a history of counter-surfing if the opportunity presents itself) and can provide a consistent routine would be great.
