Meet GRR’s precious Shabu! This boy is super friendly and loves people, but he also has a bit of a boisterous side (as many one year old Goldens do)! Shabu is active and loves to play fetch, although sometimes he forgets to bring the ball back…and he is extremely proud of himself when he does! He is a very happy dog and thrives on human interaction. Shabu can be a bit overly exuberant sometimes, he is currently working on not jumping up on people as a greeting; and with consistent practice and redirection, he is already showing improvement! Overall, Shabu is a wonderful companion who is described as happy, compliant, devoted and playful.
Ideal Home: Shabu would flourish in a home with lots of space to run and play. He needs a family where his human(s) have time to work with him to perfect his manners (which are already improving). It would be great if his new home had someone who could be around during the day or someone who works from home, if possible. Ultimately, it is most important that Shabu has a family who can spoil him with love and daily cuddles. Could Shabu be the perfect addition to your family?
