Meet GRR’s Remington, a beautiful Golden senior who has been through a lot, coming to GRR after her previous owner passed away unexpectedly. Currently, she is rather unsure (naturally) and is learning that she is in a safe place, even though everything is very different. Remington is 100% a Velcro Golden Lady; she loves to be brushed and can never receive enough attention. She wants to climb in your lap (if allowed) and enjoys all the treats! Remington loves to wander outside in the yard and will bask in the sunshine. This girl has beautiful curly hair and will alert humans that she needs to go outside with a bossy bark!
Ideal Home: For Remington, a home where she is met with understanding and love is a must. She has gone through so many changes recently, and is acclimating and adjusting. She is described as an “Angel Dog” who is sweet, friendly, and a bit overwhelmed (right now). While Remington lived with two other Goldens in her previous home, she is taking some time to get used to the dogs in her foster home at this time, so she will likely warm up to having another canine companion as she decompresses more and more.
