Update - January 14: Daisy is best described as playful, sweet and social ----- sounds like she’s a golden through and through. Daisy loves to play and she seems happiest when there are a lot of people around. When everyone was home over the holidays, Daisy was in heaven. She loves to play with the foster’s Golden and even likes to play with the cats. She seems to really enjoy the outdoors and exploring the backyard --- and if her humans are with her, that's a bonus. When she gets tired, she absolutely loves to cuddle and insists you pet her non-stop.
Daisy needs to be in a home where she will gets lots of attention and be played with. She's young so she gets giant bursts of energy multiple times a day. Nothing crazy; but she needs activity. Whether it’s humans playing tug-of-war or fetch or taking her on a good, long walk, Daisy enjoys activity as she’s a young Golden. If it's a combination of humans playing with her and another dog that she can play with, that's even better. As Daisy loves people, the more people in the house the better. Daisy is truly a delightful girl who is ready for her forever home.
Meet GRR’s Daisy who is working to learn more about the world around her and is growing her confidence each day. As Daisy was previously living in her crate for the majority of each day, she is somewhat vulnerable and timid, but with day to day experiences and loving humans by her side, she is starting to really blossom. Daisy will cuddle right up next to you to sleep and she loves to join you on the couch. She is super playful and enjoys the resident dog in her foster home - they like to play tug-of-war and play outside. Daisy has even initiated play with the resident cats in her foster home! The Golden personality is definitely within sweet Daisy and even though she might have moments of feeling timid, she is actually quite social. She is truly a lady inside with polite manners, she loves pets and cuddles (and will even protest if you stop petting her) and loves to run around in the back yard with some zoomies thrown in here and there!
Ideal Home: An ideal home for Daisy would be one with an experienced dog owner who can help her to flourish. Daisy would benefit from a family who can provide her with a daily, consistent routine and lots of play/exercise time. She LOVES people, but chaos seems to overwhelm her, so a home with older kids or teens would be a good fit for Daisy. One thing she has learned to love is time outside, so having a backyard would be something Daisy would truly enjoy. Having another dog around seems to be something Daisy is fond of, but is not a necessity. Could your be the right fit to help Daisy continue to bloom and grow?
