Meet GRR’s Coconut, a high energy, sweet girl who wants to be close to people. Coconut is still decompressing a bit in her foster home, and is currently a bit dependent on her human(s) to feel secure. She loves to chase her stuffies, will retrieve a ball, and will even play tug-of-war! Coconut can be a bit jumpy when excited and does need some consistent redirection in those moments. She’s learning about puzzles with treats, a Kong toy, and sniffing all the smells outside. One mystery that Coconut’s foster family is working on is while out on walks, she will sometimes stop and sit for a spell here and there, but with encouragement, she will continue with the walk. Coconut loves attention, and is described as smart, eager to please, friendly, and active.
Ideal Home: For Coconut, a home where she can have a daily routine and plenty of time for play and exercise would be ideal. As Coconut does not like being left alone, having a family where someone could be around during the day would make her feel both secure and happy. She also might benefit from having a dog friend in her home that could also serve as a role model for her as she learns and grows. Could Coconut be the perfect pup to complete your family?
