Casper has been in GRR care for less than a week but here are the foster’s initial thoughts about this cute boy. Casper is a hugger, licker, cuddler and shadow. He is a high energy pup who likes to be by someone much of the time. He plays and follows his foster siblings and wants to be a member of the pack. He seems to enjoy other nice dogs.
Casper tries to listen and wants to please. He’ll attempt to hug and lick you constantly, which is Casper’s way of showing affection. The foster is working on this and keeping him from jumping on you. Casper is still adjusting to his new environment so needs considerable attention.
Casper was recently neutered so he’s on exercise restrictions and wearing the dreaded cone for 10 days --- suspect he’s counting the days until he can get rid of the cone. At this point Casper seems to be a very healthy boy. His foster mom hides cheerios in a snuggle mat and gives Casper dog puzzles to work his mind while on exercise restrictions. He seems to enjoy both. Stay tuned as we learn more about Casper.
