Meet GRR’s Brinkley, a young Golden who is recovering from several medical procedures that needed attention when she arrived at GRR. With that, Brinkley is learning to enjoy some simple comforts - a plush dog bed to relax on and being close to people (she likes to physically touch her human companion(s) whenever possible). Brinkley is fun, sweet loyal and an all around good girl. She loves to be told as much too! She really enjoys belly rubs and knows to ring the bell to go outside. Brinkley has brains as well as beauty, both inside and outside. She enjoys laying on the sofa outside and watching birds, and adorably wags her tail when receiving kisses and offers kisses in return. She is friendly, playful and active.
Ideal Home: For Brinkley, a family who will incorporate her into their daily lives is a must. She wants to be close to people all the time, so having a family where someone is home much of the day will make her one happy girl. She will do well as an only dog.
Note: Brinkley is going through heartworm treatment June 5 - August 5.
