Boscoe enjoys life. He’s very high energy so has active puppy needs. Boscoe is easily excited when anything new happens: opening his kennel/crate door, opening the front door, greeting a new dog, getting dinner, etc. Boscoe approaches life with zest and the world is his oyster. He’s a rambunctious boy and making progress on learning appropriate, puppy behavior with his trainer who is working with Boscoe on sit, down, recall, kennel training and meeting new people/dogs. He is sweet and loving with humans and enjoys zooming around the yard with his doggie pals.
If Boscoe could talk, he’s say “play with me, let’s do stuff together, let’s have fun, fun, fun right NOW!” He can be a bit mouthy and jumpy --- not in a mean way but in a playful, puppy way. He’s learning the proper way to meet new dogs, how to ride calmly in the car, proper leash walking and how to interact with new people. Boscoe is confident, outgoing and smart. As with most young Goldens, Boscoe has some puppy moments so if the opportunity presents itself, he will counter, try to bring his sticks in from outside, bolt through a door (return if offered a treat) and play/chug all the water from his water bowl. Boscoe is a sweet, loving puppy who enjoys snuggles and cuddles with him humans.
Ideal Home: Boscoe needs a family that understands he is a young, high-energy puppy needing s a consistent routine, continued training and ways to expend energy. He will do best with another younger or playful dog to help get his energy out! Boscoe is very energetic so will likely knock over younger children but he is very social so will likey do great with older children. His ideal family will recognize he’s a young, active dog and help Boscoe understand why it can’t be Boscoe play time all day, everyday. Lastly, Boscoe needs an active family who recognizes he is a young Golden who wants have fun with him AND is OK working with him. He needs someone home much of the day as Boscoe cannot be kenneled all day. Could Boscoe be right for you?
