Boscoe is an EGF Golden because he had lived the majority of his young life in a crate in an apartment so when he was surrendered to GRR, Boscoe was extremely wild and had no idea how to manage his emotions. He needed a lot of work at Board and Train to learn how to appropriately interact with other dogs as well as learn basic manners. Today, Boscoe is adopted and happily bonded with his humans and the other dogs in the home. Boscoe loves his pack and is a friendly, active, playful boy.
Boscoe's Story: Boscoe enjoys life. He’s very high energy so has active puppy needs. Boscoe is easily excited when anything new happens: opening his kennel/crate door, opening the front door, greeting a new dog, getting dinner, etc. Boscoe approaches life with zest and the world is his oyster. He’s a rambunctious boy and making progress on learning appropriate, puppy behavior with his trainer who is working with Boscoe on sit, down, recall, kennel training and meeting new people/dogs. He is sweet and loving with humans and enjoys zooming around the yard with his doggie pals.
If Boscoe could talk, he’s say “play with me, let’s do stuff together, let’s have fun, fun, fun right NOW!” He can be a bit mouthy and jumpy --- not in a mean way but in a playful, puppy way. He’s learning the proper way to meet new dogs, how to ride calmly in the car, proper leash walking and how to interact with new people. Boscoe is confident, outgoing and smart. As with most young Goldens, Boscoe has some puppy moments so if the opportunity presents itself, he will counter, try to bring his sticks in from outside, bolt through a door (return if offered a treat) and play/chug all the water from his water bowl. Boscoe is a sweet, loving puppy who enjoys snuggles and cuddles with him humans.
