I've found my furever family!

Barney

We're happy to tell you that Barney has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Barney is an Extraordinary Golden because he had severe hip dysplasia from a birth defect and needed FHO surgery to correct this deformity. An FHO (femoral head ostectomy) is a surgical procedure that restores pain-free mobility to a diseased or damaged hip by removing the head and neck of the femur. Muscle holds the FHO in place. As Barney’s left hip was most severe, it was done first. After successful surgery and rehab, Barney is doing well and living the good life with his adopting family. At some point in the future, he will have an FHO on his right hip.
