Meet GRR’s Bailey, a beautiful girl who is learning so much about day to day life after years of solitude as a breeding dog. Bailey is currently leery of all new things (which for her is almost everything). With time to adapt and decompress a bit, she is already realizing that her new life is not so bad! She enjoys exploring outside (sniffing all the new smells), she is learning to enjoy treats, but is still not too sure about toys. Bailey really does want to trust people, but right now sudden movements, noises or unexpected things in her environment overwhelm her. However, she is already making progress, as she loves to lounge and snuggle in her blanket in her foster home. While she may lack experience (in general) right now, Bailey is a fast learner and although she’s cautious, she’s also extremely sweet.
Ideal Home: For Bailey, a home where her people understand that she will need time to trust as she learns new things is imperative. As she is rather skittish, a home without small children would likely be good for her. Bailey needs a family who can take things slow with her and who will calmly encourage her day to day as she gains confidence in herself and in her people. She has been around other dogs in the past, but does not show tons of interest in them, so would likely do fine as an only dog. Could your family be the one to give Bailey her second chance?
Bailey has only been in GRR care for a short period of time so check back to see how her personality evolves.
