June 15 Update: Roux is a fantastic dog. She is very sweet, loving, happy and playful. She has a very expressive face with big round eyes and looks like a Disney princess version of a dog. She is smart and learns and adapts quickly. Roux is clearly loving life and her excitement and happiness is contagious as you cannot feel down when around Roux and her happiness. She is extremely sweet, playful and the perfect lady in the house. Roux needs a family who will love her and snuggle with her on the couch. She's also enjoy another doggie companion.
Meet GRR’s Roux, a beautiful blonde Golden who is all heart and has beautiful, soulful eyes! Roux is working to learn new things (like walking on a leash) while sharing the endless love she has for her human(s). This girl has no boundaries or personal space. Although she is a large dog, that is not a worry for Roux, she will lounge across your lap, join you on the couch or climb into bed with you! Roux loves human contact and is somewhat of a Velcro Golden; she wants to be near her people and she likes for you to hold her paw. She knows how to sit, is working on stay, and enjoys sniffing around outside. While Roux is an extremely happy pup, she does get startled by new unexpected movements. Indoors, Roux is trustworthy and has nice manners, she seems interested in playing with other dogs, and much of the time she is quite the couch potato!
Ideal Home: For Roux, a family who can be around often and include her in their day to day activities would be great. Roux loves to sniff all the outdoor smells. She is eager, snuggly, and friendly, and would do well with a family who will truly treat her as one of their own (as she loves to be on the furniture just like you)! Having another dog to play with would be great for Roux, but is certainly not a requirement. Could your family be the ones to love and spoil gorgeous Roux?
