I'm ready for my new family!

Brody

I'm Available

June 13 Update:  After months of dieting, Brody has reached his goal weight of 90ish lbs.  Congratulations to this sweet boy as we all know how hard dieting can be.  While Brody has slimmed down, his personality is still wonderful:  sweet, gentle and fun.  Brody has never met a stranger and is a bundle-of-love who just wants to be petted --- he sighs and closes his eyes while being petted as that's pure contentment.  Brody is so cute doing his “Brody dance” jumping foot-to-foot and back and forth waiting for his dinner.  He’s a perfect gentleman when left alone and enjoys his daily walks.

Ideal Home:  Brody needs someone who will spend time with him, give him lots of snuggles and play with him.  Daily walks and maintaining his current weight are a must.  While Brody has perfect manners, he will not do well emotionally if left alone all day.  Brody is fine with a single person, he’d be a happy camper with multiple family members as that would mean more attention and love.  Brody has arthritis in his knees so he’d do best in a single-story home or one with only a few steps.  Could you be Brody’s forever family?

May 6 Update:

Meet GRR’s Brody, a sweet boy who loves people. Brody is well mannered; he is learning basic commands, and enjoys a game of tug-of-war! He is a large dog who loves walks or spending time in the backyard sniffing all the smells and keeping his eye on the squirrels & lizards! He loves to be groomed, massaged, and is a Velcro Golden (he wants to be right beside you all the time). Brody is a character and when he seeks attention from humans, he makes a growly/talking noise that will bring a smile to your face! Other times he will bark demanding pets and cuddles. He is described as sweet, gentle, sensitive and will be the ultimate companion to whomever adopts him.

Ideal Home: For Brody, a home where he can receive consistent, daily opportunities for exercise would be great as he has some arthritis that does best with routine. Speaking of routines, Brody seems to thrive most with a daily routine. Having someone who is home often is best for Brody as he sometimes does get anxious when he’s left for long periods of time. He likely would enjoy the companionship of another dog who is fairly mellow and can match his energy level or he could also be an only dog in his home. Most importantly, Brody needs a home where he will be fawned over and loved on each and every day. Could Brody be the perfect addition to your family?
