Update 11/12:  Otis is an amazing Golden that is super-loving and affectionate. He craves being close to you for lots of touching and cuddles.  Otis is a young Golden so he is high energy and needs daily exercise --- walks, playtime and zoomies in the backyard are his favorite things.  Because Otis is smart and eager to please,  he is very trainable.   Otis needs a family with two adults in the house who are committed to continuing his training.  As Otis can be jumpy, he may be too much for younger children but would likely enjoy teens.   This joyful, happy, delightful boy has a true zest for life and is looking for his forever family.

Meet GRR’s Otis, a gentle and playful Golden who loves to be by your side! Otis is adjusting well to his foster home while also recovering from his recent neuter surgery. He loves to be around his people and really enjoys having some kids to play with- he likes a good game of hide and seek! He’ll bring you a toy or ball and drop it, but hasn’t had much chance for retrieving quite yet (although he shows interest). Otis is fond of having another dog around to play with or just to have some canine company! He can be a bit jumpy at times when he’s excited and pulls some on a leash, but overall has good manners.

Ideal Home: For Otis, a home where he will have ample opportunities for daily exercise and play is important. He loves people (adults and children) and has lots of energy (as most young Goldens do)! A home with a yard to romp around in would be ideal for Otis; he would also benefit from having another dog around, which would be a great way for him to release some of his energy! Could Otis be the perfect pup for your family?
