Run, play, hug, repeat --- is the best way to describe sweet River. Here’s his story: River was abandoned on the River Walk in San Antonio. He had no chip, no collar, tied with a scraggly rope to a post and infested with fleas. A tourist visiting from out of state saw him and sat with him. He was so sweet and loved the attention. Another good Samaritan who works on the Riverwalk saw them and agreed to take him home. The Good Sam vetted and cared for him before deciding it was best to rehome River as she was dealing with family health issues. So the Good Sam called GRR as wanted to ensure River would go to a great adopting family. River has only been in GRR care a few days so stay tuned as we learn more about this handsome boy.
