Personality: Kai means “water” in Hawaiian, and the name could not be more appropriate for this sweet boy who loves to go for a swim.  Kai is a real looker with his nice light blonde fur – his foster mom reports that he actually “smiles” too when he’s happy and around his people.  Kai loves to be loved on – he enjoys being rubbed and pet, and will try to cuddle and snuggle with his humans whenever he gets the chance.  Kai would make a great family dog because he’s happy and calm around children, and he’s got an outgoing personality that will make him friends everywhere he goes.  Kai has a great energy – he’s calm inside the house, but knows how to get excited when it’s time to go for a walk!   He’ll also play ball with anyone who will engage him – he loves to chase after his toys and bring them back to you.

If you’re looking for a happy go lucky type of guy, Kai would be an excellent candidate for you.

Ideal home: Kai would appreciate an active family that can take him for walks and swims.  He loves to be around people, so get ready for a lot of cuddling and snuggling with this boy!
