Cedar Bark Festival

The inaugural Cedar Bark Festival event takes place at Cedar Bark Park at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 2525 W. New Hope Drive on Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 10:00am – 2:00pm. This event is free for the community; however, donations for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter are highly encouraged and may be dropped off upon entrance to the event. Accepted donations are canned or grain-free pet food, bedding, and blankets. Please, no used toys, collars, or leashes. 

Activities for the festival include an ugliest dog contest, caricaturist, photo booth, a costume contest, tricks for a treat, fastest dog races, a dog jog fun run, agility demonstrations, and many more! Vendors and non-profit organizations will be on site with products and information about taking care of man’s best friend. Food and drinks will also be available for sale for festival goers.

Please contact the Friends of Cedar Bark Park at 512.567.2407 or 512.401.5514 for more information about signing up as a vendor or sponsorship levels. Additionally, you may come by the Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main Street Cedar Park, Texas 78613, to pick up a registration form. 

All proceeds from this event will benefit Friends of Cedar Bark Park, a volunteer organization that works to improve the park through maintenance, service projects, and donations for new additions. Information on joining this organization is locatedat this link.

Attendees are asked to chaperon their children and keep their dogs on-leash when outside of the park fences at this event. Parking is available at Veteran’s Memorial Park, free of charge. Volunteers for this event are still needed!
