Personality: Tristan came into GRR with his life-long friend, Sadie, a black lab mix (GRR-073). They were brought in together because their owner at the time felt they were bonded and should be kept together. However, their fosters  have determined that both dogs would blossom best with more individual attention. They have been separated, each to find their own special forever family.

Tristan is a big, loving boy who has been in this world long enough to have learned the ropes. He’s very well behaved and as such is allowed to roam the house without being crated. Tristan has not had one accident in the house and when he is ready to come in from outside, he barks politely at the back door. He enjoys a good walk, giving other dogs he meets along the way a well-mannered sniff. Tristan says “ho-hum” to thunderstorms, which is a very good thing. He’s not really into toys or raucous bouts of playing.

Ideal home: Tristan would love a new forever home with a person or family looking for the companionship of a low-energy, sweet dog.
