Spunky is an enthusiastic, young at heart, incredibly affectionate, golden beauty that has an exuberance for life and willingness to please that sets her apart from other dogs. She loves her people so much, that she is unwilling to leave them, even in the front yard without a leash. She is her happiest with her people. She is also a very smart girl and a fast learner. Her current list of commands is, sit, stay and come. Additionally, she’s a pro in the home and completely housetrained.
This spunky lady is in need of an active family to share her life with. She still has the puppy exuberance and would thrive with older children and adults. She loves people of all ages equally as much, as she loves other dogs. For Spunky, walks are socializing events and she will attempt to meet other dogs with enthusiasm! Her charm sometimes is not appreciated from the other puppies. Additional guidance in leash manners and doggy introductions would be beneficial.
Her excitement extends into some of her favorite things. A few of them include, swimming, car rides, jumping like a deer in the backyard, her squeaky hamburger toy and eating! This girl loves to eat! She’s a big fan of “trash can diving,” and would benefit from some additional guidance in that regard. Sharing is caring in Spunky’s mind. So for now, it may be a good idea for her to eat alone, until she learns that dinner sharing with the other dogs is not always appreciated.
Spunky would love someone willing to shower her with lots of affection, take her on daily runs, and bond with her while teaching her some new behaviors. In return, she will share her squeaky toys with you, never leave your side, and promises to fill your life with the joy of her presence. Ideal home:
Spunky still has some puppy exuberance and behaviors, so an active home with someone willing to give her some additional training is preferred. She loves other dogs and would do well with another patient dog or one willing to show her proper behaviors.
Spunky’s experience with cats is limited, so it is unclear how she would react to one. Additionally, thunderstorms pose no problems for this lady.
