Personality: Hyatt is really coming in to his own, especially now that he is through with his heartworm treatment. He can be trusted to roam free about the house when left alone and now that those “low activity” restrictions are gone, he can begin to play with other dogs, which he has been dying to do. His foster parents are anxious to see how he does with children and are expecting positive things.

Mastering the art of loading up into the car took a while, but now he’s sits confidently in the seat with his head out the window so he can take in all the smells. He loves to retrieve balls. Actually giving it back to his fosters is another story, but he’s learning. Hyatt loves people and the attention that they lavish on him.

At dinner time, he parks himself in front of the bowl, but waits patiently for permission before he digs in. Thunderstorms don’t seem to be an issue for Hyatt and storm or no storm, he sleeps through the night without any nocturnal trips to potty. He obediently tolerates grooming but it’s apparently not one of his favorite things.

Ideal Home:    Now with heartworm treatments behind him, has the energy of a puppy, which means he needs a forever family that will help his expend that energy with walks, walks and more walks and plenty of training sessions.
