Personality: Meet Buster, a true love bug who charms every person he meets. Buster practically melts when someone pets him – he’ll wag his tail joyfully and look up at you as if to say, “keep petting me - this is my happy place!”
Buster gets along with everyone – he will be an excellent companion to dogs, cats, and children alike! He would love nothing more than to keep you company all day long – he’ll even lay next to you while you sit at your computer and work. Buster is an overall mellow guy, but he does love going outside to explore, sniff, and meet the neighbors. This Golden is the complete package – he’s already obedience-trained and is extremely well behaved inside the home.
We are still getting to know Buster, but it appears that he is a little bit wobbly on uneven surfaces. Hiking on rough terrain would not be a safe activity for this guy. Buster walks wonderfully on a leash, and we recommend that you keep him on a leash at all times when outside the home – this guy appears to have some hearing impairment and may not hear your recall command. On the health side, Buster has a sensitive digestion system and dry skin, so he would do best on a high quality food that’s appropriate for sensitive tummies but also high in nutrients.
Ideal home: Buster will be a great family member, particularly for families with a moderate-average activity level.
