Biscotti

Status:
Adopted
Gender:
Male
Positive for heartworms?:
No
Extraordinary Golden Fund recipient?:
No

GRR number: 15-116

Type of Surrender:  Mother is GRR Shaye who came to GRR very pregnant.  Puppies were all born in GRR care so have been raised with love, medical care and are highly socialized.

Status:  Hold

Age:  16 weeks

Weight: Biscotti was the largest puppy so he’ll likely be a large boy.

Personality:  Biscotti loves attention and snuggling but also plays well on his own with toys.  He would be a great family dog for a family with children age 8 or older.  Biscotti will be a large dog and should make a great running partner --- all dogs need to wait until at least a year old to begin running.  Playing chase with the grown dogs is one of his favorite games --- he also likes to rassle, play and have fun with other dogs.  Biscotti is a little shy at first but opens up quickly.  He has a very ‘chill’ personality and doesn’t seem phased by thunderstorms or fireworks.  Biscotti is crate trained, well on his way to being potty trained, knows sit and will ‘work’ for food.  He is very smart and obedient.  Shaye, Biscotti’s mom, is a golden; however we think ‘dad’ may be a Great Pyrenees but do not know for sure.

Ideal Home:  Biscotti is a puppy with age appropriate energy.  He needs a family willing to take him to puppy obedience training, continue working on potty training and be willing to spend time playing and exercising him.  He would enjoy playing with children age 8 and older and other dogs.  Because he is a puppy, he shouldn’t be left more than 4 hours at a time.
