Personality: Arlo is a pretty white fella who just might be part Great Pyrenes, which would explain those long, lanky legs. Arlo is in great health and is timid and not real active at this point.

Housebreaking has gone well, and he is accident free. When he’s in the house and there’s a lot of hubbub going on (which is a common condition in his foster home that has another dog and 5 cats!) he handles it by walking in circles. But at night, he sleeps on the end of the bed with Kali the Golden and all of the cats.

He doesn’t seem to have a taste for balls, but socks? That’s a different story! However, he puts them right down when foster mom gives him “the look.” He is starting to play more, nice and gently with his “sister” Kali, with no fighting over toys. He doesn’t bother the cats, especially after he has had an initial sniff.

So far Arlo stays crated when left alone. When he goes in the car, he’s a bit anxious at first but settle down quickly. He does pull on the leash, the excitement being a bit too much for him sometimes.

Ideal Home: Arlo would be perfect for any home. He is good natured and generally calm. He loves people, other dogs, older children, and even cats. He is a young, active 2-year-old dog so he'll need his new family to give him regular exercise likes walks, hikes and chasing toys. As with all young dogs, he’d benefit from obedience training to help him learn to be a polite, well-behaved young man.
