Daylily
The move from a big house and yard to a very small apartment was
awfully hard on Daylily—she loves to be outside, sniff the breeze, and just
generally check out her domain. She wasn’t happy indoors all day—and her family
was worried about her. It was a hard decision: they loved her, she loved them,
and they’d all been together for every one of Daylily’s 9 years. But they knew
she needed a new place to live.
The pretty red girl was alarmed & confused at first and attempted to take off
when she got to the vet’s—but in her foster home, she’s settling in. Her foster
mom reports:
She is not looking to bolt and has also found friends with my 2 older girls. It
is amazing how other Goldens can make them feel so much more relaxed so
quickly!! Good news... she is fine with cats as she met my three kennel cats and
could not have cared less She slept quietly and soundly in her crate and is
starting to eat. I think she will be just fine in a few days!!
Unfortunately Daylily is HW positive, but she already has her first injection
scheduled and should be ready to find the perfect family by late September. Line
up now for this sweet and easy senior!
